I’m Annabel, the proud owner of Pilates Manitoba and a passionate advocate for holistic wellness. My journey is rooted in overcoming adversity. Raised by a single immigrant mother, I navigated a challenging childhood marked by abuse and high-functioning alcoholism. These experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for the transformative power of movement and healthy habits. As I prioritized my physical fitness, I discovered that exercise was not just a means of maintaining my well-being; it became a lifeline that saved my life. This awakening sparked my passion for helping others find their strength and reclaim their health through Pilates and holistic practices.

Healing Through Loss

Life’s most profound challenges can lead us to our greatest strengths. When I lost my husband while raising our two young children, I faced unimaginable grief. With one child already and another on the way, I had to make a choice: to succumb to despair or to embrace a path of healing. I turned to natural methods, using Pilates, breathwork, and MELT techniques to navigate my grief. Practicing on the floor in the early hours of the morning became a refuge, allowing me to process my emotions and rediscover my inner power. This journey not only transformed my life but also fueled my commitment to empower others to find healing within themselves, regardless of their circumstances

With a Master’s degree in Integrative Medicine, I am deeply invested in providing holistic resources that empower individuals to take charge of their health. I believe in the importance of self-advocacy, especially within the healthcare system, and I aim to equip my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to be active participants in their wellness journeys. My approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, recognizing that everyone’s path is unique. I am committed to fostering a supportive community where individuals can connect, share their experiences, and grow together in their pursuit of holistic health.
